Claim to have paid out Deposit twice!

Last year I received a lawyers letter from Revco, appointed debt collectors of Telkom accounts.
They claimed that I owed around R800. I promptly scanned in all my documentation showing that my account was at a zero balance & closed and sent it through to Revco.
After a while I started to receive (almost daily) threats of black-listing and communications to say I promised I would settle (obviously not the case).
After dealing with Revco a good 20 times, I was handed over to VVM as Revco couldn't sort this out.
I had asked "at least" 20 times for the reason for this account and eventually was told I was refunded my accounts deposit "TWICE" in 2010. This is a ludicrous claim to which I demanded I receive proof suggesting this occurred. I asked for this proof at least 20 times over the course of the next few months.

Nothing came of this although the threats continued. Eventually I was told that if I don't pay, my Home Loan application which I've just gone through, would not succeed.. That is BlackMail!

I ended up paying R1197 due to interest charged on a refund they claim to have made in December of 2010 of R700!

I am STILL waiting for proof and am calling Telkom out to be LIARS!
