Airtime balances

I was told by Autopage that when I maigrate from one package to another that I would loose my over R 8000 balance in airtime that I paid for. According to Altech Autopage that was an MTN policy and that Autopage could do nothing about it. (they would not more likely) I was told to take it up with MTN, my prefered network, but not my service provider. Here is the MTN response:

Apologies for the inconvenience experienced.

According to our records we are unable to access any details on the number provided. We have referred the matter to to Altech Autopage to investigate and provide you with feedback.

Rest assured, it is not our intention to displease you. We look forward to improving on the service delivery to you.

Now I would like MTN and Autopage to come back to me and tell me how yhey intend to resolve this matter. clients airtime is simply not acceptable. There is a rand value on it because I paid for it.
