On 19 June 2013 I received a phone call from an Mweb female telesales consultant She tried to sell an Mweb ADSL line for home to me and not once was the word "Pingd" ever mentioned by her during this conversation! In fact I don't even know what "Pingd" is???!!! and when I asked her to e-mail the details about the ADSL offer to me, she was EXTREMELY evasive. 20 minutes after this conversation I received an SMS thanking me "for my interest in Pingd" and confirming they will "keep me updated on their great specials." I am now reading report of another very unhappy recipient of similar phone call and now about this deception!!! I've always been very happy with MWeb and have been a subscriber for years. IF I am subscribed to "Pingd"(without my knowing and thus consent), please make sure that I am unsubscribed immediately!! Please send me an email confirming either non-subscription or unsubscription to Pingd to [Email Removed] I trust that when I check my bill at the end of the month and months to follow that no deduction for Pingd have been made.
