Vodacom failed to send me reminder or upgrade after Blocking Sim Card while they were deducting monthly funds from my debit account for almost 6 months.
1. I phone customer service, who instructed me to cancel by mail.
2. As instructed I cancelled by email, with hardcopy proof.
2.1. 3 months later I discovered that funds were still being deducted from my debit account.
2.2. I phoned customer service again they gave me same instructions as in par 2.
2.3. In respond I informed them that I am going to the bank to cancel the debits myself.
3. A month later I received arrear statements, I must pay-up or receive legal action.
3.1. I emailed them again in request of, why must I pay for a service I have no benefit from.
3.2. In respond lately I received an unofficial letter of demand from their legal department.
This demand letter is from Jacobs Burnard & if I do not pay-up my property will be sold, and interest charged with all costs added.
