I hereby write to you seeking help regarding MTN. I receive a call from Siphiwe (ref: 0200004675, ID: 7410315552087) on behalf of GS Marena MTN. He said to me they offer me a cell phone (Samsung B3310) & I will get Nokia 2220 & airtime for free, for the amount of R88.00 per month. I took the offer over the phone, after a week on the 26/10/2010 a courier delivered both phones as he was mentioned. Month end I paid R100, few days later they called me to pay R140 of which it was not our agreement. I asked them to check from their records as they record us when they call you or to transfer a call to Siphiwe they refuse. I told them to send the phones back as I can`t afford that R140-R150, they said I have to pay that phone. I decided to stay about few months not paying, they handed me over the lawyer (Shapiroshaik defries & Associates). They call me that I owe MTN R6000 and that phone is not even R1000. Please help because now I keep on paying R200 each month but the balance is still R6000 even today.
