16/3 - applied at V&A Waterfront store to convert 2 PAYG sims to contracts - SIM only as folks already had their own phones. 1st application was successfully loaded (Smart Contract 2 SIM only), however the other couldn't be as there was no product code on the system (Smart Contract 1 SIM only). Being a Sat, I was promised it would be resolved by the Mon. Monday came and went, no update. After a few days, I returned and was promised it was in progress. THREE weeks later and after numerous calls, the app was still not processed!
10/4 - I returned to the store requesting they cancel my application for the 2nd line, and cancel the 1st line (which incidentally was on a month-to-month). 2 days later, despite cancelling my app for the 2nd line, it went through! I then escalated this to Craig Botha, area mgr for CPT. Promised to be resolved by month end.
3/5 - To make matter worse, I received my 1st inv for the wrong amt!
13/5 - Still not cancelled, case logged
16/5 - Still not cancelled, escalated to Alson Mathe (line mgr), promised feedback
20/5 - Still not cancelled, emailed Alson and Craig, no response from either
23/5 - 9 WEEKS LATER and still fighting! As bad as Telkom!
