Cell C
New iPhone5 still not working after 9 days

Received iPhone 5 on the 13th of May 2013. The SIM card sent with the phone was a micro SIM, the iPhone5 takes a nano SIM. After a 20minute wait to get through to the call center and two emails, the SIM was delivered on the 17th of May. In the interim CellC debited my account R116.13 for a service I can't use. On the 17th of May I spent an hour trying to get help via the call center, no one could tell me why the SIM was not working. I was assured that within 12 hours the SIM would be active. Saturday, the 18th phone still not working, call center closed over weekends. Monday the 20th I phoned the call center again, another 20 minute wait to be told that they activated the incorrect SIM and that it would take a further 24 hours to activate. I was also told that I would need to phone again once the activation was complete to port my number, a service I had requested from the start. To there credit a customer care person contacted me and assured me that they would resolve all of my outstanding issues immediately. We are now on the 22nd, I still do not have an active phone, my MTN SIM no longer works indicating that the port has happened but leaving me with no phone.
