I keep on getting invoices after cancellation

Our business has cancelled our Iburst Internet service in November 2012 due to poor Internet Connection and too much downtime. We still received billing invoices each month after November and when we inquired about it no one responded. Finally someone came to us and said that our account got mixed up with another that is why they never cancelled our account and they will refund the monies debited from our account. Then in Feb/March suddenly we received an email from the retentions department now claiming that we cannot cancel because it is a 24month contract etc. and there is now a cancellation fee and hardware fee. So we refused to pay that because we were under the impression that our Internet has been cancelled months back, we have not even used their Internet for months, but still got billed, and we received an email from Iburst stating that they will refund us the billings after November. Now, in May, we receive a Statement for R4165!!! This is ridiculous! Poor and miss-communication from Iburst (If and when they actually decide to follow up on client queries and complaints) they never got anything right, mixed up our acounts and no one in the entire company could assist!
