Beware-Cell C's coverage outside the main cities in South Africa appears to be way worse that the other networks. Various places on the outskirts of Cape Town also have weak signal.
If you intend to use your phone internationally Cell C wants a R2500.00 deposit before activating roaming if you're a new customer (less than 3 months). Surely credit / salary checks are done to ensure that ones financial standing is sound. They also say that the R2500.00 will not be returned with interest when refunded.
Be careful of selecting Cell C as your service provider if you travel internally and externally as your frustrations will be many.
