I had a one year membership with Virgin. I phoned in the beginning of January to find out when it expires. The consultant told me that it was the last month. I asked if that was the last debit-order where he replied yes. I told him that will not renew the contract and would like to cancel.
I saw this morning that they debited my account again and when I phoned the lady just said that there is nothing they can do and I had to cancel. I told her that I did phone in and cancelled so why is it still active.
Apparently you have to give written notice. Seriously!!! So a phone call means nothing!!
