During October 2012 I received correspondence from SAYA recoveries stating that I was indebted to Planet Fitness in the amount of R1 650.00 in respect of an account duly cancelled during 2011. I immediately provided Keneilwe Gaza from Saya with written confirmation received from Planet Fitness that the contract was indeed cancelled during June 2011 and that all amounts owing in terms of the contract had been paid.
Approximately 2 months ago Planet Fitness commenced to sporadically and on several occasions debit an amount of R250.00 from my bank account. During the past week this happened on two occasions, the most recent whereof was this morning.
I've sent a number of emails to Planet Fitness Durbanville and to Saya recoveries and the only response I received from Samantha at Durbanville branch was confirmation to the effect that the contract has been cancelled and showed a R0.00 balance.
The continued efforts to deduct monies in an unlawful manner is nothing short of criminal and I will not tolerate this any further. I demand confirmation that this issue has been resolved and that no further attempts will be made to deduct funds from my bank account.
