Monday evenings are probably the busiest day of the week at Virgin Active, yet even though the gym was extremely busy, Solomon decided that he would rather browse Facebook than to swipe the cards of the members who were queuing to get into the gym.

I find this highly unacceptable and extremely unprofessional.

The computers behind the front desk should not be allowed to access sites such as Facebook and should be used for work purposes only.

As members of the gym, we are paying the salary of the employees and therefore we are the priority, and not their Facebook.

I demand that disciplinary action be taken against Solomon and that Facebook access be revoked from the computers at the front desk to ensure that such an incident never happens again in future. The manager of the gym must also phone to apologise and let me know what steps are being taken to prevent this from ever happening again.
