For the last 2 weeks of Oct my boyfriend and i have been trying to cancel our gym contracts only to be told every day that their system is down and we cannot be helped and to try tomorrow. Only to find the next day the system is still down. I contacted the owner gerrit kapp and explained the situation to him, only to met with hostility and arrogance when i complained. he told me that all i had to do was send an email (written notification), i complained that his staff are poorly trained if that is the case, and none of them ever mentioned i could simply send an email to cancel my contract. All they ever said was "our system is offline i can maybe help you tomorrow". He accused me of lying. the staff are friendly and would not complain had the owner not been so unhelpful and rude, when i the customer came to him with a problem.
He should not be in the industry where they provide a service if he refuses to help the customer, and refuses to accept that he might be wrong!
