I attended a kick class at the Benoni Virgin Active yesterday. I was at the the class on time and a man that frequents this class came late but decided to stand next to me, when it came time to kick (about 20 mins into the class), there was not enough space for both of us. He then told me he is going to 'kick me if I stand here". I told him that if he thinks he is going to kick me, he should move away from me. He then asked me if I had a problem (he was very aggressive). I said yes, and that he was the problem. He then told me multiple times to voetsek and "ngizok'shaya wena" (I am going to hit you). He then pushed me on my head. My sister in law and I went to report this to the acting manager, Thuli, and she apologised. However, he was allowed to continue training in that spot and I was basically then forced to the back of the class (due to lack of space). A whole lot happened after the class which can be explained when someone calls me. However, ALIDA, the manager of the club has still not called me to discuss this issue even after I have made numerous attempts to contact her. I think that this is just sloppy and unacceptable.
