Billing Error and no answer at contact centre

I called Virgin Active to notify them that my bank account was closing and my wife was now taking over the monthly payments. They told me this could be done hassle free over the phone which I did. I then get a call a month later from them to say I have not paid my subs as my account is closed. I explained the story and now my wife and I have to go into Broadacres to fill out paperwork who has time for this. My point is if you are told it can be done over the phone then why is this not the case in reality. I then called the Virgin Active contact centre to talk about the situation and guess what I eventually had to put down the phone because I was on hold for so long. Poor communication on all fronts from Virgin Active very strange for such a well known brand. Im not a happy customer. Planet Fitness is looking more like a viable option.
