Planet Fitness Debiting my Account

After my account was cancelled two years ago, I get a notification that my account has been debited this past Sunday and then again Wednesday. I made several calls to the Admin Manager in Bedford Centre who could not help me in anyway, I again called the gym and the guy I spoke to said to me that because of a new system being implemented, records had been messed up, yet the Admin Manager insists that my account has not been cancelled. My emails are also not responded to when asking for a reasonable way to move forward with this. Who knows what is going on?? IF my account was not cancelled or records lost two years ago, why wait until now to randomly debit my account EVERY FEW DAYS? Why was I not debited continuously two years ago so I could have put a stop to it? This seems quite suspicious, a way of ensuring that someone stays with Planet Fitness for years without realising their cancellation was not confirmed. Now I am expected to pay back payments of two years. Is this professional? I will not make any back payments, in fact I would like to take legal action against Planet Fitness. Until someone can advise properly, you guys are blocked from my account. Highly aggravated!
