I had a planet fitness account in 2008, which i ended in 2011 Officially, because i cancelled early, Planet Fitness continued to debit my account because it would have been a breach. I was ok with this. I phoned to tell Nelisiwe Ngcobo that the contract must be cancelled once the payments are over & that she would confirm, she said she would action. The payments finally ended sometime in 2012 when they stopped debiting my acc.
Today i get a call from a COLLECTIONS AGENT from SASY or something saying that i owe a huge amount to Planet Fitness & need to pay because i havent been. So i call Planet Fitness & a girl named Lee-Ann answers & says she'll check if i didnt sign a re-curring contract!!! I just cannot believe it because when i called Nelisiwe, she confirmed that the contract would be terminated. Lee-Ann also doesnt care much & says she'll call me & nearly hangs up with out even taking my details.
I would like to point out that i will not be paying a cent for something i did not know of. I need someone to get back to me ASAP to short this out.
This is a bad name for this gym! Absolutely horrid! You do NOT care for your clients!
