AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND WRONG BILLING

When I joined Planet Fitness in 2010, I was told that I could only get a 3 year contract and not a one year one. They to me! This can not be legal, and I am going to contact the consumer protection board regarding this and my billing problems with Planet fitness.
At the end of June 2012, I approached the Planet Fitness at Ruimsig and told them, in writing, that I want to downgrade the membership to a one person and not a two person one. They changed the details on the system and put the membership in my husband's name, as requested, but kept billing me for R651 instead of R330. When I spoke to them regarding this, they said they never received the request to downgrade, which is a blatant lie.
I have had to put stop orders on their debit orders, since they kept billing me for the wrong amount. I have requested that they remove the debit order from my bank account, and would be paying the bills in cash or into their account, but they have not even bothered to contact me regarding this. Now Planet Fitness is subtracting unauthorised amounts of money from my bank account, a couple of times a month. This is completely unacceptable! I have attempted to contact the manager, no luck
