Last year, I decided to take up a joint contract with my roommate at planet fitness. I was allocated as the primary holder and my roommate, as the secondary. The agreement was that we would pay the contract off in instalments, as we did. The contract totalled R 8000. One of the payments was made by my roommate and the payment was recorded under her name and not debited from our joint account.
I have spoken to the staff at planet fitness numerous times to correct this, to no avail. I have just been handed over to a Lawyer by Planet Fitness, stating that I have an outstanding payment on my account when I most certainly do not. I am at whit's end now. I am in the process of buying a house and if I happen to get black listed for the incompetency of the staff and processes (or lack there-of) of Planet fitness, I too will take legal action against planet fitness.
I am extremely frustrated and disheartened by the staff's inability to act upon my numerous requests and do not believe that it is my responsibility to deal with the Lawyers or the head office as this is not any issue created by my error. I can only hope that I get some resolve from this complaint.
