I am not pleased with my National Membership at Virgin Active. It appears to me that Virgin signs up people without any consideration of capacity of the gym. I've looked at 3 gyms as I have national and they are all fully packed. As a working person I can only gym after 5pm. I tried, but it is fully packed in the weight training area. I tried today at two gyms at 8pm hoping it would be bearable. Both fully packed. What am I suppose to do? I cannot go in morning as I have to be on the road before 6am to miss traffic.
I was informed that it calms down after Thursday - but there is a problem, I cannot do weight training on Friday, Saturday and Sunday?!
Cardio and swimming pool is ok and manageable - but I need more than that.
With my two month's membership I've had enough. I probably have no leg to stand on to cancel my contract in a fair manner for both parties. I doubt I will renew another contract with this "company" as I do not believe they managed well with regard to provide proper 'usable' facilities.
Hope this is received and waiting a response. I pay so much a month for a facility that I cannot use for what I need it for. Very disappointed.
