A friend and i decided to sign up with Zone Fitness for a gym membership. After getting the wrong information from the Consultant in the begininng we were originally put off but decided to go ahead with Zone Fitness despite the mess in the begininng. We were then quoted R165 for 24 months at the Kloof Street branch. After meeting up with the consultant (Owen) we were happy with the gym facilities and decided to sign the contracts. We then proceed to sign the contract of which he then also signed and handed us a copy of the contract for our references. We were then told to pay R50 each for the our membership card of which we did. All was then confirmed and we were then told our membership is confirmed and will be loaded the following day. Needless to say, this did not happen, . We were then told that the incorrect rate was quoted to us and that in fact it should be R200 and not R165 per month.By that point, i had had enough of the bad service and incorrect information given to us. I then received calls from the manager Boela telling me that they will cancel our membership should we not agree to the R200 fee. The contract we signed specifically says R165 x 24 at their Kloof Street bra
