Dear Virgin Active
To make a long story short, Virgin Active needs to hire staff or IE. train their staff accordingly, in October last year 2012 I cancelled my contract with Virgin Active because i couldn't afford it and because i hadn't been to the gym in over a year. I actually did the cancellation in person for the reason so that there wasn't any confusion in the matter. Of course like any establishment they asked why i wanted to cancel my contract and i explained the reason above mentioned. The staff member who assisted me i don't have a name reference then offered me a 4 free month probation period where i wasn't paying anything, i actually first refused because i knew it was another ploy to try keep my account open, the lady who helped me assured me that it wasn't and that they wouldn't bill me after after the 4 free month probation UNLESS i re opened my contract with Virgin Active, now I had my boyfriend with me at the time who is a witness to this testament.
Did i read the 4 Month free contract to the last word NO! I want a manager to contact me who can actually assist me and not swear to contact me and never do??? I am Appalled and will never trust again!!
