My fiance Lorraine Venter bought an electrical bicycle from Squirreldirect on the 27/7/ 2012 for the amount of R2700 and picked it up 10/8. The bike was not in a working condition and I sent a mail to complain. Got a reply that they will contact the supplier and nothing after that. I took the bike back at the end of September. No feedback till 29/10 when I received a mail that the bike was ready to be collected. I collected the bike but it was still not working. Took the bike back and asked that I needed it back before the December holidays. After a couple of phone calls I got an answer on 21/12 that the bike is not ready. Was only contacted on 28Jan 2013 that the bike is ready for collection. Collected and send them a mail on 18/3 that the bike is not working and has a used battery (scratched and old). No reply from them. Took it back 22/3 and asked for a refund. No answer and after calling them on 3 April they said they were waiting for the supplier. Called them again on 24th April - still same story they are waiting for the supplier. This is now 9 months and I do not have an electrical bicycle or my money. All correspondence is in writing between Isaac and Lorraine.
