I bought my wife a Veaudry hair straightner two years ago, it was really expensive (R 2000.00) and I heard people said it is the best hair straightners on the market. Well I do not think it is, I know that it has a one year guarantee but after 2 years it just one day blew up a spark and didn't work after that. she only uses it once or twice a month so we didn't expect it to brake that easily.(The best part is that the spring that keeps the iron open touched the electric chip and that is why it shorted out, a manufacturing problem?) So I phoned Veaudry natural technology and asked them if I can buy the green chip with the switch so that I can replace it myself as the thing is out of guarantee already.
They told me that they do not bring in parts and that I must buy a new one, they will give me a 25% discount.
For me it is highly unprofessional for a big company to just say: (sorry you must buy a new one.)
I would rather buy my wife a GHD next time, because my wife's sister has one for 5 years now and using it every day without any problems, also my sister uses GHD at her hair salon and said it is the best straightner on the market. Seems money is more important than their clients.
