A few days after my Dad passed away my Mom broke her Right leg. She went to Truworths to buy shoes for the funeral. She picked out the shoes and bought it on account. She only wore the left shoe to the funeral because obviously the other foot was bandaged. She was in a wheelchair for a while and never got to wear both shoes as her foot was in a moon boot until the end of winter when she packed it away.
Unpacking all the winter clothes now she realised that Truworths didn't check the shoes when she bought it to see if it was left and right foot. She only realised now that its 2 left feet. Taking it back to the same branch explaining what had happened they didnt want to refund her or give her other shoes. They cant help and turned her away.
This is very disappointing and she has been a Truworths customer for over 30 years and this is how they help her?
