The other day I bought a universal adaptor at the hardware store above the Spar in the Cape Quarter.By mistake I bought the incorrect one and only realised this after opening the package. The following day I went back to the Hardware store to try and exchange the plug for the correct one but I was rudely told by the Supervisor. "You opened it, so no" shaking her head. The night before she was pretty rude as well when I approached the check-out desk where she was busy scanning items. Walking up I asked if the checkout point is open in which she rudely looked at me and said "you will go that side". Not even a hi, good evening or unfortunately not, just 5 words ordering me like a dog to the next check-out point. Pathetic how this could be employed as a supervisor, she can supervise my middle finger for all I care...
Eventually after trying to return the plug the next day and informed that it's not possible, I went down to the rest of the Spar to do some shopping, placing the newly bought plug and the old (which I was not able to retur) in my basket. Did some shopping, went to the check-out point at which Laurenne (I think) assisted me. She easily assisted with the refund, thank
