I bought a kindle form Makro Strubensvalley in Jan 2012, now 14 months later, just 2 months out of the warranty period, the kindle screen has frozen. The reply to me today after handing in the kindle, is that it cannot be repaired because they dont have parts and because it falls out of the warranty period, there is nothing they can do. They will also not give me a credit note.
I find this shocking from Makro, and will not be purchasing another item from any Makro store in future
