Dvr Samsung CCTV Device was bought from Makro in December 2012 . The device stopped working 3 months later. After handing it in at Makro, they sent me straight to the first repair company, only to find out that they do not work on this specific device. I should have realised this was going to get frustrating. Back to Makro, They will send it somewhere else, now finding out that Samsung SA does not carry this warranty on their unit. Surely when your name is on the box you have to be involved. This tells me we do not know what we are buying when we shop there, I wonder if everybody is aware of this. This might change the way we buy things. It is now Jan 2014 and I'm still without resolve. After buying another device I also promised myself that I would find out who holds the warranty on the units or items I am buying. Thanks for nothing Makro, Samsung and the repair Company Reditron.
