I received a pair of earrings as a gift. The stone of the one earring fell out, so I returned it to the store. I had given the receipts of the earrings as well as the insurance receipts. A week after that American swiss had called me to give me a quote for the repairs, even after I had given them the insurance slips. I was then told to come back to the store and fill in a claims form, which i did. The following week I was called back to say the earrings were ready for collection, but when I got there they had given me the same earrings in the same condition, I was then told they mad a mistake. Weeks later I gave them a follow up call, they told me the insurance is still busy with it, A week later I callled, they said I need to go to the police and fillout a affidavit. I told them over the phone that but his is now unacceptable, I will collect the earrings as is and take it elsewhere. When I arrived The women did not want to give the earrings as i requested, she insisted go get the affidavit for the insurance. Even the police told me that im being taken for a fool, Its two months now since all of this happened, Im very disappointed and what a waste of my time.
