I recently phoned a number of Mr Price Home branches enquiring about a certain object which I have seen at several stores around the country. The person who answered the phone at the Argyle Store in Durban was very rude and responded to my questions with abrupt "what"s and "huh"s, and generally displayed no service etiquette. It also seemed as if she knew absolutely nothing about the store's stock. She then put me on hold for over 5 minutes and it seemed that I was forgotten about as I heard people discussing various other things in the background. I eventually hung up because the call was getting too expensive and I wasn't receiving attention. I had similar experiences with other stores in the Cape Town area, but not to the extent that I have described above. Mr Price Home, sort your employees out!
