Today my wife and I went into the Westgate Checkers and as often we had our African Grey parrot with us. A few minutes after entering the store a very rude security guard insisted I take the bird outside after telling me there is a sign saying No Pets Allowed.
I do not have a problem with this and if he had asked me politely there would not have been a problem.
I went outside with the bird and waited for my wife who wanted to buy a pair of boots.
She found the boots she wanted, paid for them at one of the tills, and as she was leaving the store, the same security guard came up to her and again, rudely asked to see her till receipt as she had not purchased a packet for the boots.
We will not be using this particular store again in the near future.
By the way, maybe you should issue the security guards with nets so they can catch the wild birds that fly around in your stores.
This is the report I was going to post on the Checkers Customer Care website. However, hafl way down the page after entering my province, I found I was unable to proceed any further. Hence the reason for posting here.
