I returned an iron to Game Sandton yesterday which was faulty and received extremely poor service from the customer care department. I dealt with Modia who was rude, sullen and could not even bother to greet me. I did the exchange and left the store. Today I called to find out about a price for paint. I called the store 3 different times before anyone answered. I was then put through to the paint department who never bothered to answer. The receptionist then tried to put me through to the floor manager - who also never bothered to answer. This took place at 10:00 on Thursday so not a busy Saturday! We keep hearing how retail is battling - well clearly in Game's case it is no wonder. I put the phone down and called Builders Express and was helped immediately by an efficient and friendly individual. I am off to buy 100 litres of paint from them! I won't be bothering with Game in the future!
