When ordering a desk from Eugene at Cape Office Furniture, I emailed him a picture of what I wanted, it was an L-shaped desk. I asked him if the desk in the picture could be swung around, so that it could fit our office&he said yes absolutely. He sent me the Inv and I pd in full before delivery. When the desk was delivered, it was only the one side of the desk. I phoned Eugene to enquire, he said that is what I ordered. I told him I sent a picture&that I still asked for it to be swung around. He then told me I should have seen on the quote that that is not what he quoted me on. He says that he assumed that I would know what the codes&wording meant on the quote and what I sent in the mail was irrelevant-I should have known what the company codes&wording meant-I mean really?! And even more ridiculous, is that on that quote&Inv, it has the picture that I sent him! He's reply was that the picture is that it is just a ref to the colour of the desk and not the desk. They absolutely refuse to take this desk back and refund me my money, so that I can get what I wanted in the 1stplace from somebody else. I have also emailed his boss Rey Fiveash and he too does not care.
