Toy Kingdom
Misleading advertising poor staff training attitud

About the 29th March 2013 I received an SMS from Toy Kingdom advising me that they were running a mosaic workshop in store for children with a promotion on purchasing certain products. The workshop was to be held on Thursday the 3rd April 2013, 10-12pm. I decided to treat my children as they had not done anything during the school holidays as I am a working mom. I took a morning off work and headed to Toy Kingdom at the V & A Waterfront. When we arrived posted quite clearly outside on the window of the store was the dates of all the workshops being held during the holidays. We were around 15 min early so the kids looked around and I went to ask the staff where the workshop was held. After being sent round the store to 5 staff members as none of the first 4 knew what I was asking about, he 5th replied sort rudely that it was being held in the front of the store. The kids and I browsed around the store and at 10am we went to front of the shop. Nothing was ready. Just 2 empty tables. I ask again and got a blank expression. 10.05 a lady arrives, counts what she has.10.10 all the tables are packed away floor is cleaned. 10.20 we ask and are told they don't know where to setup. We left
