I bought a recliner on 28/03/13 and as it was Easter weekend were promised that delivery will take place on Tuesday or Wednesday which I was fine with. On 02/04 at 12:27 Salome from the warehouse called to inform me that my delivery will only take place on 04/04. I told her this was unacceptable and I expect the commitment made to be met. She then informed me that SHE will contact the dealer to cancel the deal. Naturally I nearly burst a vein and took it further. In spite of the fact that the store manager, Zakele and the regional manager, Odger apologized and committed that my recliner will be delivered 04/04 I still don't have a recliner. I've been given the runaround without any success and there just does not seem that any one is willing to do anything about my complaint. I paid cash for the recliner and Furniture City has had my cash for a week now and of course I had to pay a delivery fee - A clear rip-off as they don't know the meaning of delivery.
