New Accounts Application - Poor head office reply

I applied for a new account on Wed, 27 March 6pm. Employment confirmation was needed but couldnt get hold of my employer, and requested her cell. I found it so unprofessional to call so late and they told me someone would call Thurs early, but no one called, so i took the effort and got a letter of confirmation from my employer. I took the letter to Eastgate, and they called to verify if this could be done and we were told it was fine. I waited 45min to get back from a very rude lady at Head Office telling me the letter isnt applicable and i must provide a cell, it was almost 7pm now and the start of the long weekend, and because I refused she told me it was my problem. I received a call super early on SUNDAY asking for my employers cell, i refused because it was Sunday. So with attitude asked me when must they call, i replied today, Tuesday 2 April. I have still not heard of any calls as of now and my employer has left already. I find this absolutely rubbish, i went to the effort of getting a letter of confirmation to make things easier, they reject it and tell me they will only take calls, yet they DONT CALL!!! I actually want to cancel it all.
