I have just been to your Bram Fischer shopping centre store to buy myself Lucozade and Energy bars. When I approached the counter, the cashier was busy wiping the counter while having a mild chat with the packer, and it looked like she had just started wiping as it took her a good 5 seconds to respond to my greeting. She completed wiping, turned to me and greeted me with a slight irritated expression on her face. After I gave her my money, she took each note and held it high against the light to check if it is a real or a fake note, I asked her if you don't have a ultra violet machine that she can use to check instead of showing everybody in the store that she is checking if I am not using fake money. I told her that it is not such a nice experience to customers, and she responded by telling me that they do it all the time with all the customers and that it is of no use for me to go to the managers because they are aware and gave the instruction. After giving me my change, I noticed that she gave me R5.50 instead of R5.55, and when I made her aware that she gave me short change, she told me that it is not short, but she will give me the rest of it.
