Was buying ciggerettes at counter when till displayed an error msg and cashier required managers assistance. managers and supervisors were standing having a chat right at the counter. when i interrupted them to please assist manager told me that i cant purchase my beverage at that counter - nevermind that i had already paid for my drink and was now trying to buy ciggerettes. i was on my lunch break and didnt have time to report his poor attitude but i will never ever purchase ANYTHING for a checkers store again since the attitude towards paying cumtomers doesnt seem to matter to this particular manager. Unfortunately i didnt get a chance to get this managers name so the entire brand has to suffer but i will be telling all friends and family about this incident. It time that manager release that when it comes to customer service even they too should oblige. And what made me even more angry was that there were no other customers at the counter when he told me to go stand in a que - surely the aim is to get the shopper out as soon and as happy as possible? so does it really matter if i purchased one item other than my ciggerettes at the couter?
