Almost 5 weeks ago two cans of Pepsi fell from a high OVERSTACKED shelf and smashed my big toe. Pain was excruciating, blood pressure soared, infection set in, draining and antibiotics prescribed, Thrush developed from antibiotics, more medication needed, total medical bill - ALMOST R1500. Current pain/discomfort level - high, toe will continue to resemble a bruised and mess for many months.
Checkers response? Store manager concerned; regional manager, Michelle Moodly - don't know as she lacks the common courtesy/is too important to return customers calls; their "claims people", Aon SA, sent appalingly badly written, unsigned letter denying liability and containing what I infer to be a thinly veiled threat to pursue matters, if I dare!
