On Thursday I went to Musica in Blueroute to get a Vodacom cellphone contract advertised at R135 per month & includes an Xbox & other accessories. I was told to come back on Saturday as that was when the Stores Vodacom consultant would be at work & was assured that there would be stock available. When I went back to the Store I was told that they were out of stock & that the contract price had increased to R260 per month. They contacted the Musica in Cavendish where they still had stock of the phone & I was assured that I would be able to get the contract for R135, as it was the last one they had in stock; Once new stock arrived it would change to R260. I went to Cavendish straight away & was told by the Vodacom consultant that she couldn't actually give me the contract that day, but would organise for me to receive the contract for the price advertised, & would let me know by 10am the next day. At 1.30 the following afternoon I received a call from Musica informing me that they could not organise the contract for me & I would have to pay R260. According to the CPA this is FALSE ADVERTISING. I am very unhappy with the service received and would like something to be done about it.
