What nonsense, really!

I am so over CTM East London. Over the years we have spend thousands on tiles, accessories etc. My husband had spotted a mirror he liked and so we took time out of our ridiculously busy schedules and travelled the distance to go and purchase this mirror. Everything was going smoothly, we paid for the mirror, bought one or 2 other bathroom accessories and then that's when it went pear shaped! We got to goods receiving and we waited and waited and waited, until we couldn't wait anymore. Both my husband and I's jobs are pressurised, so we really don't have time to waste. Eventually I went to call someone who looked at our receipt for goods purchased, only to be told that there's no stock. Um.. sorry, but why didn't you tell us that before paying for everything, it should be on your systems! Getting a refund was a nightmare. They wanted to pay us back in cash. When I told them I wanted it back to my debit card, there was no manager around. The cashier had to phone him to come to the shop to refund me. That was another 10 minute wait. We were there for just short of an hour. What a waste of time, CTM EL, thanks for nothing! Very unhelpful! :-(
