Why must i pay for rejects?

Monday i bought a skirt from Jet in Bellville. I decided this morning that i would wear the skirt. When i got at work i encountered that there was a hole in the back of the were the factory missed to stitch it. I was and is still shocked and so embarrassed. This is the first time something like this happened to me. I work in a office environment and here we just don't accept things like this. I do not know what to do as my underwear is completely exposed and i cant even move from my desk as it you can see the factory fault clearly. I buy most of my stuff at Jet as its more cost effective. I need to know don't anybody check the quality of the garments before it reach the floor. This is a huge inconvenience to me as i need to go into the store and the consultant will look at me with the statement "you did this and they won't believe me. What do i do in this regard as my self respect at work also took a knock
