Sunday the 5 January 2014, I took my husband to Ocean Basket for lunch. His birthday is the next day so I decided to spoil him with his favourite food. We sit outside, and then we have about 3 flies around us, not too bad. Next food arrives and we have about 7 flies around us and two bees. Try to get a waiters attention and nothing eventually we get one. Ask for a candle to help with the flies, they ring this and walk away. Eventually it's so bad we try again for minutes to get a waiter. They come and we ask to move inside as the bugs are too many. They then move us in. inside flies get into my drink and swim and die, bees chase my husband, still no waiter. Eventually the bee sits in the food and dies. They call manager; she apologised and looks at us? We ask them to make new food and put it in a take away we will eat at home. Eventually when I go pay, they charged me even for the drinks I could not have because their pets had it. Get home and the two pieces of fish from our platter we managed to have, is missing from the tray. Conclusion they scooped out the bee and put our original fly ridden bee hive food in a take away??? This for a halaal establishment really?? Happy birthday?
