I would like to bring it to the attention of Pick and Pay of the security issue and expired stock at their Boulders branch in Midrand.
Myself and my fiance visited the branch on the 9th of March 2013 and whilst shopping, my fiance was pick pocketed of R800. The criminals had opened her bag while she had it on her shoulder and removed the money.
Also when we got to the cashier we noticed that the bread rolls that we had picked were green and mouldy and had expired on the 7th but was still on the shelf.
All the cashier had to say was sorry and we would like to get another package of rolls. With the chance of getting food poisoning we declined exchanging the rolls and decided to leave, at which point my fiance had noticed she had been pick pocketed.
We are extremely disappointed with the unsafe shopping environment at Pick and Pay and the expired goods that are being sold.
