Friday evening my Fiance and our friends attended the Pick 'n Pay Taste of Joburg @ Monte Casino.
They were giving away Pick 'n Pay Taste of Christmas shopping bags which included the Taste Magazine and Jacobs Kronung Coffee Sachets.
As I was drinking my coffee, it tasted a bit offish which instantly made me inspect the Best Before date. To my shocking discovery, ALL the coffee sachets that my fiance and I received in two separate Pick 'n Pay Taste of Christmas shopping bags had expired in MARCH 2013 already, 6 MONTHS AGO.
I am disgusted, horrified, shocked, flabbergasted and dismayed at the fact that Pick 'n Pay who is a loyal family favorite brand would include Expired goods in their freebies before going through the Quality Assurance process to ensure that goods are safe and within the recommended use date for consumers.
Irregardless whether goods are free or not, Pick 'n Pay should ensure that all products are safe to consume and not simply disgard their rotten items by passing them to consumers.
We paid to experience the Pick 'n Pay Taste of Joburg.
The rotten coffee left my me, fiance and my friends with a rotten sour taste of Jacobs Kronung, Pick n Pay and Joburg.
