I went to Canal walk yesterday to go and view some new laptops as my have just crashed. as the loyal CNA and Edcon client, I decided to go to CNA to view their options. as I walked into the department where the electronics are held, I saw the one computer that I was now interested in. it has all the specifications that I want in a PC, and in the end at a great price. the sales agent (forgot his name - very friendly fellow) told me all the great specs and I was sold! I want this laptop! when I told the agent I am interested, he then told me, after explaining how good the PC is, I am not allowed to buy it... as I am not a student!! Have you ever?? he then tried to show me other PCs, but they are in comparison to the one that I want! My question is... Where does Canal Walk CNA believe that a student will buy a laptop that is worth R10000? I would have purchased the laptop there and then, but no... CNA chased me to their competitors instead.
can you please advise as to how a client should be handled? to deny them to buy a product??? IS THAT NORMAL?
