Shocking Service and No Customer Centricity

I visited Spar in the Richdens Centre twice in the last week. On both occasions I received shocking service from the staff. The reason I mention manager in the persons responsible is that if this had been fixed the first time, I wouldn't have experienced the same bad service the second time - twice in one week is a bit much! The first incident was over Colgate toothpaste which was advertised as R6.99. I reach the till and as per usual in this store, the price is inflated at the till - R8.99. I advised the cashier that the price was incorrect and she told me I was wrong and that the price of R8.99 was correct. It was obvious she did not know her products in the shop and their associated pricing. She was arrogant, rude and defiant. I then collected the ticket off the shelf to prove to her. Waste of my time and energy but it was now a principle for me. The second incident was over the stickers which the same girl omitted to give to me and I had to ask for them. Again, only in this Spar does it happen. Praven, the manager came to my assitance and was very kind. I beg a question. Why do Spar in Richdens only employ african staff. This staff member laughed at me with an african customer!
