Bad quality of fruit and vegetables

I have been shopping at this particular Pick and pay for many many years, however i have noticed that when you buy fruit or vegetables, it goes off very quickly and you end up throwing most of the goods away. I don't always have the time to take the goods to work with me and then pop in by Pick and pay to go and complain and show them. When i buy the pre-packed lettuce, i cannot keep it for longer than 2 days, i have to throw 3/4 of it away because the lettuce is spoilt. the fuit is just as bad, i have to buy what we need for that particular day and then make sure that it is eaten up or i must throw it away. In this difficult financial times, it is unfair to have to throw food away all the time
