Takes no responsibility for damaged Ice Cream Cake

My son turned turned 3 this weekend and I ordered an ice cream cake for his birthday a week and a half ago from Die Roomys Koning. When I went to fetch the cake, the Spiderman picture on the cake was damaged. I asked them about it, but they just ignored me and took the cake to the back to package it. As they also don't have a card payment facility/machine, I had to go and draw money first. When I came back with the cash, I asked them again about the damaged cake. All the guy told me is that he didn't make the cake and that it is not his fault. I asked if they couldn't fix it before I came to fetch it, as it also not my problem and that I am paying for a proper cake and I didn't order a damaged one. The guy turned around, took the cake to the back again, and came back with my deposit money, which he threw on the counter to me, and then just turned around without saying another word. As a client and at the price of R290 for the cake, I expected the cake to be damage free, or at least a proper and calm explanation, instead om them trying to pass the buck and not wanting to take responsibility!! What a bad attitude and service!!!
