I recently purchased an oven from Masons in Benoni which Big Foot couriered to me. It was delivered on 20 February 2013. Upon opening the box it was discovered that there was some damage as well. I could not believe this. Not another damaged product.
I requested somebody to please send a technician to come and view the item. The ref nrs are S000289683, S 000290236 and S000290912. On 27 Feb 2013 they informed me that the technician will come on Wednesday. I even sent them photos of the damage to the product. It seems as if the clients are not important. The least that could be done is to phone but it seems as if it is to no avail.
There have been promises to inspect the goods but to no avail. I am now sitting without an oven that cannot be installed and the aftersales service of whirlpool is just pathetic. It seems as if once they have your money they forget about you. NEVER WILL I EVER BUY WHIRLPOOL AGAIN JUST BECAUSE OF THE BAD AFTER SALES. Nobody comes back to me and I just have to keep phoning and still sit with the damaged goods.
